Happy Halloween!!!

     Happy Halloween everyone!!!

WOW. I just had a GREAT workout. I know its a little later than usual, but oh well :) .

I finished the Dirty 30 workout, but I needed more. So I also did the Lower Fix. Lovin' those calf raises!

It wasn't a very eventful day. I mainly just watched Netflix. I didn't do anything for Halloween either. I don't even have a costume! But if YOU did something for Halloween, there is a list above for Halloween candy. It shows the how many calories for each candy, AND how to get rid of said calories.

Have a happy Halloween!!!

Hurting!!!

I just got done with my leg exercise. It was a good hurt, but my legs were already hurting from yesterday's workout! My favorite leg exercise was the calf raises. It hurt, but I could feel it working. :)  I had to keep telling myself "defined legs.......defined legs". It worked!

I LOVE these workouts (I know, you would have never thought an 11 y/o would say that, but its true!). They feel good. (In a hurty kind of way) AND they work! Even if you only lose two pounds in the first week, It feels good because you know you are doing something about it.  You will appreciate it later, I promise.

Even if you are on a different weight loss program, I definitely encourage you to keep going. It's worth it. :)

Homework

I am excited about the 21 day fix because.........

I want to be happy with my body and feel healthy. I'm happy to be doing it with my mom and I can't wait to feel confidant in bathing suits!

Here is an exercise quote that I like:

MY GOAL

                           My Goal

My goal is not only to lose weight and look good, its to feel good.

Hi everybody! (Mom) My name is Sarah Showalter, I am 11 y/o, I am 5'4, and I am 165 lbs. And NO I am not afraid to say my weight. You know why? Because its not going to stay like that. As an author, It is my job to help my readers (mom) picture what it is like being in my shoes (and to make them laugh). (as a tall, over-weight, eleven year old)

In a few days, I am starting a new weight loss program called The 21 Day Fix. It is a program in which you have to exercise, and eat healthy (obviously) . The kit comes with 7 food containers. So one container is for fruits, one for vegetables, one for proteins, one for carbs, one for cheese, and two for seeds and oils. So if your protein can fit into the protein container, that is one serving. Same goes for the rest.

In the kit, there is also an exercise program. I only have to do one 30 min workout a day! And, if I want cake, (or something sweet) I just have to do another 30 min workout!

Also, I am doing the shakeology program. It is supposed to be a powder that you mix with some ingredients and its healthy AND tastes good. I have never really been a shake fan (unless its the not-so-healthy kind from Stake & Shake or Wendy's). So I am kind of skeptical about it. But I am also very excited. :) They are pretty expensive though.

Even though it will be hard, I just gotta keep telling myself "3 weeks and you will have the body you have been dreaming of :)"

I know its just you out there mom, but, I want you to put your weight AND your goal in the comments below and check out the poll at the bottom of the page. (If I feel okay with putting my weight out there, you should too. :) )

As Journey once said, DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'! :)
